Experience rowing for Oxford Brookes Senior Rowers for 2 years,  including Bike guiding around the Mediterranean and Caribbean for 5 years.  Military trained to a high level for Cross Country Skiing and biathlon.  Graduated with upper 2nd class honours degree in Sports Science from Oxford Brookes,  range of experience in sports fitness testing,  including Vo2 Max, lactate threshold and prescribing sport specific training.
Often selected to participate in laboratory fitness testing for the military and sports drinks research,  recruiting only elite athletes.
Strengths include powerful sprint, skilled bike handling developed from racing downhill mountain bikes in the French Alps on world cup courses.

-          2012, June graduated from Oxford Brookes with upper 2nd class honours in Sports Science.  Covering many aspects of nutrition, supplementation,  personal training,  physiology and sports specific conditioning. 
Sporting Achievements:                
Road Cycling
-          2011 Sept:  1st place- 1000mile race over  10 days competing against Cambridge University Officer training corps TA branch,  instrumental in helping less competent cyclist complete the daily 100 miles.

-          2012, May-  Top 5 results in every Regional B race competed,  in including 1st,  1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th places at Castle Coombe and Milton Keynes circuits.

-          2012, May-June:  3 weeks spent racing and appreciating team dynamics and tactics in Belgium with Zappis Pro Cycling,  achieved 23rd place in  Ereprijs Rene De Ridder - Kester - 1-12B(Elite/U23). 

-          2012, July: two top 5 results from Portsmouth National B criterium races.


-          2012, Aug: Selected to guest ride for Zappis Pro Cycling team in Jersey Elite 1,2 road race and Criterium.   Worked successfully as a team member preventing chasing group catching the break to enable other team mates to take 2nd and 3rd place.  Also in the same race achieved  9th place and 5th place

-          2012, Aug:  Portsmouth Circuit track race E123: 5th place and 6th Place in following weeks race

-          2012, Sept:  Spirit Regional A, 5th place and taking several primes racing as an individual against teams.

-          2012, Sept: ,  Top 10 at Hillingdon National B Criterium.

-          2012, Sept:  John Dulcie Oxford National B  Road Race,  15th place

Army Biathlon and Nordic Skiing championships Serre Chevalierre,  France.
Performed at  a high standard, deemed acceptable for selection from 19 athletes into a squad of 8.  Lived in the team house for several months in preparation, with a ruthless timetable of 8-10hrs per day training.
-          15km Classic skiing champs: 1st/ 130 Officer Cadets & 50th/650 regular soldiers.
-          10km Biathlon: 1st /130
-          10km Relay: 1st / 130
-           7.5km Biathlon Relay:1st /130
-          Patrol Race (entailing military task and carrying large quantities of kit on skis): 1st /130

Rowing
-          2008, Selected for Great Britain coxless Four at London head of the river regatta
-          2009, June Selected for position 6 in the Henley Royal Regatta temple cup
-          Wallingford Regatta 2009 Oxford Brookes coxed  four Senior Men's  1st place
-          Boston marathon Rowing regatta- selected as stroke in a pair, 6th place out of 60 senior rowers.

-          2010 British University and Colleges Sports Downhill Championship (BUCS) Ae Forest- Dumfries top 6/30 in hard tail category
-          2011 BUCS Downhill Championship 60/200 full suspension
-          2012 BUCS Downhill Championship top 40/240 full suspension

Cross country Running

-          2011 Dec- 2012 Feb, Competed in Army’s national 10k series XC races positioning in the top 25/180 of every race of the 10 race series.
-          2011, 10k Personal Best of 34 minutes
-          2012, Oct half Marathon Personal Best of 87.17 Minutes.  Placed 51/5000.
